Compare two spreadsheets by a unique identifier and download a report of added, removed and changed records.
Limits: 50,000 data rows and 500,000 cells per result. Excel files: one selected worksheet per file. Only table values are exported.
Result preview
Preview shows up to 20 rows and 12 columns. Downloads contain the full result.
Protection prefixes formula-like cells with an apostrophe. This changes their exported text. XLSX results use text cells.
How to use this tool
- Choose your earlier file and newer file, using the same worksheet structure.
- Select a column with a unique, non-empty identifier present in both files.
- Compare the files and download the change report. Moving a row does not count as a change.
What to check
Every column needs a unique heading, and the selected identifier must be unique in each file. Values are compared as displayed text. Formatting, formulas and workbook structures are not compared.
Does this tool upload my files?
No. Processing happens in your browser. The tool does not send spreadsheet contents to Tech Tycoon or to an AI service. Your original file is unchanged.
