Effective date: October 8, 2026. This policy describes how Tech Tycoon handles information when you use this website.
Spreadsheet files
The spreadsheet tools read and process your selected files in your browser. Tool code does not upload those files or their contents to our server or an AI provider. Loaded data remains in the page’s memory until you clear it, reload or close the page. Downloads are saved according to your browser settings. Extensions and the security of your own device are outside our control.
Website requests and logs
Visiting the website sends ordinary web-request information to our hosting provider, including your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time. These records may be used for security, troubleshooting and website operation. They are separate from spreadsheet contents.
Network lookups
The MAC vendor tool checks completed addresses against IEEE assignment data stored on this website. The entered MAC is sent to Tech Tycoon for this lookup, not to an external MAC lookup provider. When you enter a complete public WAN IP, Tech Tycoon sends that address from its server to IPWhois.io for approximate location and ISP data. If that service fails, the site sends the address to RDAP.org and the relevant registry for registration details only. These providers receive the entered IP and our server address, not your browser connection IP from this lookup. Results may be cached for up to a day. Google Public DNS receives DNS queries, and ipify.org receives the browser connection IP, only after you check the disclosure and submit those respective tools. Provider privacy terms apply. Calculators process inputs in your browser.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are stored privately in this website’s WordPress database and are accessible to site administrators so we can respond. A short-lived hashed network identifier is used to limit repeated submissions. Contact messages are kept until no longer needed for your inquiry. If you email support@techtycoon.net directly, your message is handled by our email provider and may remain in the support mailbox until no longer needed. Do not include sensitive files or financial information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The custom spreadsheet tools do not need cookies or accounts. WordPress may use necessary cookies for administrator sessions. The website uses Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand visits and page usage. It may collect device and browser information, approximate location, visited pages and interaction information, using cookies when you choose Allow analytics cookies. Analytics and advertising cookie consent defaults to denied. Google Consent Mode may still send cookieless measurement signals to Google while consent is denied. Spreadsheet contents are not included in tool analytics. Your cookie choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it, or manage cookies in your browser. Advertising is not part of the custom tools; any future advertising requires an updated policy and appropriate consent controls.
Your choices
You can use the tools without sending us a contact message. To ask about personal information you have submitted, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, use the contact page. Retention and available rights may also depend on applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website’s features or service providers change. The effective date will be updated with material revisions.
